My Brother-in-law moved to Vietnam a few years back and on a trip home, brought me this lighter he found in a shop in Hanoi. Today I came across this website, so I took a photo of the front and back of my Zippo and sent them off to put in his gallery. It would be cool to find the original owner.

VIET NAM ZIPPOS
My Brother-in-law moved to Vietnam a few years back and on a trip home, brought me this lighter he found in a shop in Hanoi. Today I came across this website, so I took a photo of the front and back of my Zippo and sent them off to put in his gallery. It would be cool to find the original owner.

I always wonder what happened to mine. I lost it in my home town, not Nam, and since I quit smoking I know I don't need it, but damn!
ReplyDeleteI paid two or three bucks for that big old Zippo, what with the engraving and all. Somebody's got it, for sure.
All I remember from that night is I started out with a gallon bottle of Gallo Vin Rose...
